About Fogstar

Fogstar's story began in 2015, not with 48V batteries, but with a mission: to combat the rampant threat of fake lithium-ion batteries across the UK.

Founder Ben Facer, frustrated by his own experience with counterfeit 18650s, embarked on a quest to source and supply legitimate, safe, and compliant battery cells.

This relentless pursuit of authenticity and safety became the cornerstone of Fogstar's brand. We quickly established ourselves as the UK's leading supplier of genuine lithium-ion batteries, trusted by major brands, businesses, and individuals alike.

However, our vision expanded beyond Li-ion batteries. We saw the transformative potential of off-grid energy and the critical role reliable LiFePO4 battery storage would play in its future. 

In 2021, we partnered with EVE, a renowned manufacturer, to bring Grade A and B Prismatic Cells to the UK market. We carefully selected a range of affordable, yet reliable Battery Management Systems, enabling customers to self-build LiFePO4 packs without the risk of ordering from unknown suppliers.

It was our relationship with EVE and JBD that helped us to develop into LiFePO4 technology; developing the Fogstar Drift leisure battery. Packed with EVE's high-quality cells, advanced features like JBD BMS, Bluetooth, built-in heating, and at an unbeatable price, Fogstar Drift became a game-changer.

Moving forward from the success of Fogstar Drift, we decided to take it a step further, and move into the world of Solar Batteries. This was a natural evolution, leveraging our expertise in quality batteries and understanding of the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions.

We crafted an industry leading 48V Rack battery, containing some of the best components in the world. This innovative battery offered exceptional performance, reliability, and value, quickly establishing itself as a favourite among solar enthusiasts and installers.

And the journey doesn't stop there. In 2024, we've launched the highest-spec, lowest-cost 15kWh battery in the world. This ground-breaking product represents our commitment to push the boundaries of innovation and accessibility, making solar energy storage more affordable and attainable than ever before.

Today, Fogstar stands at the forefront of both authentic UK battery solutions and pioneering solar storage. We offer a diverse range of server rack batteries, home battery systems, and DIY components empowering individuals and businesses to embrace a more sustainable and independent energy future.
